Freja-Smart is a special flower pot , because it has a liquid container at the bottom to collect water and it helps the plant to withstand drought better.

Freja-Smart is a special flower box because it has a container at the bottom to collect water, which helps plants withstand drought better. The flower box has a double bottom and a water overflow pipe. The water collects between the two bases, the volume of the tank is 12 liters. Excess water flows out of the flower pot through the overflow pipe.

Cor-Ten steel is almost pure carbon steel that has been treated in such a way that a protective layer forms on its surface when it is exposed to weather conditions. The surface layer is grayish at first, turns red-brown (rust-like tone) over time and gets darker over time.

  • The flower box is made of 2 mm Cor-Ten steel
  • Weight 28 kg
  • Flower pot dimensions: 101 x 37 x 23 cm (L*W*H)
  • Height with legs: 101 x 37 x 61 cm (L*W*H)
  • The legs are made of 8 mm stainless steel (bases Cor-Ten)
  • The intermediate base is made of galvanized steel and perforated
  • There is a water overflow pipe at the bottom, which regulates the amount of water at the bottom of the flower pot
  • When filling the flowerpot with soil, a layer of light gravel (approx. 5 cm) should be placed on top of the bottom, so that the soil does not block the bottom openings and the roots of the plants reach the water.

Note!  Cor-Te steel products are delivered with an untreated surface. The brand new Cor-Ten steel is gray in color like regular hot rolled steel. Expiry instructions can be found on our website or scan directly from the product .  

Cor-Ten products can be kept outside all year round. No storage required.

    Cor-Ten-teräs on lähestulkoon puhdasta hiiliterästä, joka on käsitelty niin, että sen pintaan muodostuu suojakerros sen altistuessa sääolosuhteille. Pintakerros on aluksi harmahtava, muuttuu ajan kuluessa punaruskeaksi (ruosteen kaltainen sävy) ja tummuu ajan myötä tummemmaksi. Oikein käytettynä Cor-Ten-teräs on ilmeikäs ja pitkäkestoinen materiaali, jota ei tarvitse huoltaa.
